Rex is the queen’s most beloved dog, however, he gets lost and runs into a dog fight club where all types of dogs confront each other. In order to find his way home, Rex goes on a long journey, hoping he’ll get reunited with queen. It stars Julie Walters as The Queen, Sheridan Smith as Wanda, Ray Winstone as Tyson, Jack Whitehall as Rex, Matt Lucas as Charlie, Tom Courtenay as The Duke of Edinburgh, Colin McFarlane as Chief, Nina Wadia as Parmore, Sarah Hadland as Mitzy, Debra Stephenson as Melania, while the music was written by Ramin Djwadi. It has been released on 16th of January in 2019 and the running time is 92 minutes. It is also expected to be released in France, China, the United Kingdom, Latin America, Russia and many other countries around the world, sometime in 2019. nWave Pictures is a company from Belgium that produces and animates the movies. This film costed around $20 million to make.

This movie is somehow based on Queen’s real life connection with her dogs. It’s well know that the Queen Elizabeth II loves her corgis and takes very good care of them. There is a special chef in the palace that prepares gourmet meals for them. They are fed at 5 p.m. exactly and sometimes the Queen herself pours gravy over their food before they begin eating. Dogs are walked by the Queen herself after they have their lunch, their first walk when the wake up is however accompanied by a footman. Kate Middleton‘s Cocker Spaniel named Lupo was banned from Christmas celebrations in the palace after one of the Corgis attacked Princess Beatrice’s Norfolk Terrier, Max. Poor Lupo has to spend that time in Kate’s parents’ home in Berkshire. During the Christmas, there are stockings for each of Queen’s beloved dogs. Queen fills them with toys and treats. Nobody is allowed to raise a finger or the voice to any of the dogs. Corgis even travel with the Queen, and she even brought one on her honeymoon in 1947. The first Corgi that was given to Elizabeth was actually Susan, a gift for her 18th birthday.
